Emerencz Merkle is a Queer DJ, Producer, and the Founder of OBSKUR MUSIC Record Label presently residing on the Nelson in British Columbia.
They began their journey as a classically trained musician before diving into Northwestern Canada’s electronic music scene in 2009. Their journey was profoundly inspired by traveling to cities where the diversity and richness of electronic music far exceeded the confines of small- town Canada, exposing them to vibrant underground sounds.
